On November 8, 2022, the world lost a bit of its brightness, with the sudden and unexpected passing of Zacharias (Zach) Barden of Toledo, Ohio. Zach was a loving son, brother, uncle, boyfriend, step-dad, and coach.

His family has formed the Zacharias Barden Legacy Foundation, through the Greater Toledo Community Foundation, with the goal of supporting good works in the areas of his passions, including improving tennis and fitness opportunities for community members.
